Haytor ia a granite tor in the east of Dartmoor National Park, and one of it’s famous landmarks. At a heigt of 457 m (1499 ft) it is a fantastic lookout and climbing venue. WebThere are in fact two climbing areas at Haytor, Haytor itself and Low Man. The latter is quieter when the main crag is swarming with tourists. There are all grades available from Diffs to E5's, and most are 2 & 3 stars! There is an easy approach to the crag, not much over 5 minutes, and plenty of parking in the numerous laybys.

It took us 3 hours not 2.5 with very few breaks in between- the climbing is steep in parts & the track quite rocky so we were pretty tired at the end.
